Coal City High School Transitions Class, led by Ms. Sarah Bell, teaches skills that will be beneficial to employment upon their successful completion of their educational years. We have worked with this part of the team for the entire three years we have been building momentum to the day we will be in our own space.
Illinois Valley Industries in Morris, IL is another organization that provides employment opportunities to its clients. Illinois Valley Industries will help people participate in their community, live independently, contribute to society and enhance the quality of their lives. The ultimate goal of every program at IVI is independence. Program participants receive assistance in obtaining and maintaining their optimal level of independence through community education and awareness, recreation, social experiences, and light assembly work.
We are fortunate to work with these two programs, and the team is very proud of their accomplishments thus far. Just wait until you meet our shining stars! They will dazzle you with their skills.
